Review: The Peruke Maker by Ruby Dominguez

The Peruke Maker ( Based on True Events) takes place in two different centuries, first you have the 17th century New England and then the 21st Century and two women who's lives are intertwined with gruesome twist that will chill your spine and capture your interest.

First you have from the 17th century The Peruke Maker's daughter Bridgette a beautiful young girl with long flowing red hair who has been condemned as a witch. Then you have from the 21st century Sarah who due to a dreadful accident somehow connects with Bridgette.  Sarah begins to time travel between the present day and Bridget's time taking a front row seat to the Salem witch trials and the curse of Thomas Cane.

I enjoyed reading this not only because it is based on true events which i love but, also because it kept me on the edge of my seat. It has it's creepy moments but, was hard to put down once I got into it. Ultimately, this a story about love and forgiveness that I  recommend to anyone interested in a quick read relative to the Salem Witch Trials, curses and magic.  I give it 4 STARS.
